Terms of Service

Effective date: October 30, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and TPC Publishing LLC, doing business as The Smart Diabetic (“we”, “us”), at thesmartdiabetic.com. By buying the guide, subscribing to the newsletter, or using this site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or buy.

1. Who can use this site

You must be 18 or older and live in the United States.

2. Educational information only

The guide, the newsletter and this site are educational. They are not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and they are not written for your individual situation.

Using them does not create a doctor-patient relationship with Dr. Timothy Conroy, D.C., or with anyone else. Dr. Conroy is a Doctor of Chiropractic. He is not a medical doctor and does not prescribe or adjust medication.

Always talk with your own healthcare team before changing your medication, diet or activity. In an emergency, call 911.

3. What you are buying

The guide

• “What to Ask Your Doctor About Type 2 Diabetes, and What to Do Between Visits”
• A 16-page printable PDF
• $17, one-time payment, delivered digitally right after purchase

The Smart Diabetic newsletter

• A paid email newsletter, normally sent every Tuesday
• $99.95 per year
• We may occasionally skip or move an issue, for example around holidays

4. Automatic renewal of the newsletter

**Your newsletter subscription renews automatically each year, and your payment method on file is charged the then-current yearly price (currently $99.95), until you cancel.**

• Reminder. We will email you a reminder 30 days before each renewal, with the date, the amount and how to cancel.
• Cancel anytime. Email [email protected] with “Cancel” in the subject line. Cancellation stops all future charges. You keep access until the end of the year you have already paid for. We will confirm your cancellation by email.
• Price changes. If the yearly price changes, we will tell you by email at least 30 days before it applies to your renewal, and you can cancel before then.

5. Payment

Payments are processed by Stripe. You agree to give accurate billing information and to keep your payment method current. Prices are in US dollars. Applicable sales tax may be added at checkout.

6. Refunds

Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy, which is part of these terms.

7. Your license to use the material

When you buy, you get a personal, non-transferable license to read, download and print the guide and the newsletter for yourself and your household.

You may not:

• Resell, share, forward, post or publish them, in whole or in part
• Use them to train AI systems
• Use them for any commercial purpose

You may share a printed copy with your own healthcare team.

8. Our content

All content on this site, in the guide and in the newsletter belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. “The Smart Diabetic” is our brand name.

9. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the site. That includes trying to:

• gain unauthorized access
• interfere with how the site works
• scrape the site in bulk
• use it for anything unlawful

10. Delivery and email

You are responsible for giving us a working email address and for checking your spam folder. If an email or download does not arrive, contact us and we will resend it.

11. Links to other sites

We may link to outside sources, such as the American Diabetes Association. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for them. Citing a source does not mean it endorses us.

12. No warranties

We work to keep the material accurate and current, but medical guidance changes. The site, the guide and the newsletter are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not promise any particular health result.

13. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, the guide or the newsletter.

Our total liability to you for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Some states do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

14. Indemnity

If you misuse the site or the material, or break these terms, and that leads to a claim against us, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs from that claim.

15. Disputes

If you have a problem, please email us first. Most issues can be fixed quickly. If we cannot resolve it within 30 days:

• These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia.
• Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Cobb County, Georgia.
• Either party may bring a qualifying claim in small claims court.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the effective date above. If a change materially affects subscribers, we will also tell them by email. Using the site or keeping your subscription after a change means you accept the new terms.
